The event was organized by the joint efforts of the Association of Heads of united territorial communities of Volyn region and Energy cluster “Innovation energy”.
The forum was attended by leaders of the united territorial communities and city mayors of the region. Leading companies from Western Ukraine introduced their experience in implementing modern green technologies.
The participants of the event discussed the use of modern alternative energy sources and energy saving mechanisms in social and private buildings in the communities. So, deputy head of the Volyn Regional State Administration Serhii Kosharuk presented a positive experience in creating a revolving fund for energy efficient projects at Lublinets community and demonstrated the first projects for the installation of mini solar stations in the private sector of the community. The innovative approach of one community actually launched an algorithm for action for all communities in the region.
